These assays measure oxidation levels of petrochemicals and renewable diesels. There are also assay formats for edible oils.

Unlike traditional methods, VerraGlo™ assays:

• Do not use or generate toxic solvents that are expensive, must be used under a laboratory fume-hood, and that have to be disposed of as hazardous waste,

• Use no laboratory glassware or solvents, and no cleanup;  the sample vial is disposable,

• Exhibits excellent sensitivity, precision and readability in the low peroxide number range, and can be used by untrained personnel.
